Day 55 – DOW plunged 220 points

Update ( 3.10 pm ) :

NK cash closed at 13857. Traded to day low of 13667 and day high of 13920.

S&P futures currently +6, FTSE +8.5. HK trading at 22710 (unchanged), with day high at 22825 and day low of 22365.

 

 

Day 54 – DOW +34

Oil dropped more than US$4 to close at 131.93. CME NK (YEN) closed at 14195.

Update ( 11.40 am ) :

Executed the above trades for profit of 40 points. NK currently trading at 14025. S&P negative for almost whole morning despite SSE & HSI earlier rise. Now S&P still down 2.25. HSI retreating quickly from earlier highs.

Day 53 – DOW dropped 131 points

CME NK (YEN) closed at 13215.

Update ( 2.10 pm ) :

Nikkei cash closed at 14130.17. NK futures closed at 14155.

Bought 1 more contract at 14300.

Executed the above trades for profit of 40 points.

Day 52 – DOW dipped 108 points

Stocks had initially risen after oil fell and Goldman Sachs reported better-than-expected earnings. Goldman Sachs predicted banks may need to raise $65 billion in additional capital as losses and writedowns continue. Declining home prices are driving the deterioration in the credit markets. Reports showed slower growth and higher pricing pressure. Production in factories, mines and utilities declined 0.2 percent last month after dropping 0.7 percent in April. CME NK (YEN) closed at 14330.

Executed above trades for profit of 30 points.

Bought another contract at 14460.

NK cash closed at 14452.82 while Osaka NK futures closed at  14440.

Update ( 6 pm ) :

Bought another contract at 14415 during ( T+1 ) session. NK ( T+1 ) session closed at 14420. SGX NK currently trading at 14380. S&P futures -2.

Day 51 – DOW dipped 38 points

DOW slipped on weak reports on housing and manufacturing and a downgrade of AT&T and Verizon Communications to “neutral” from “buy” by UBS. CME NK (YEN) closed at 14295.

 Update ( 6 pm ) :

Nikkei cash closed at 14348.37 ( -6 points ). Osaka NK ( T+1 session ) closed at 14490. S&P futures +6.75, FTSE +100.

Sold long position of 14175 at 14480 for profit of 305 points.
